ACT 0 - OPSec

Welcome to your first step towards becoming an efficient and effective cybercriminal.

This course, like every course here at HackTown, is based around my experience when I was operating as a cybercriminal so you're able to learn the techniques, tactics, and procedures that I used to be successful. I was a successful cybercriminal who retired many years ago with cashing out the profits I made through cybercrime and enjoying DAT cryptocurrency boom! I've been floating around in life for quite some time and having too much time on your hands is never a good thing. Since I've always enjoyed writing I've designed these courses around my experience as a cybercriminal giving you the opportunity to duplicate my tactics, techniques, and procedures to experience financial freedom for yourself. You found this place at a very unique moment in time.

This first course will teach you how to operate anonymously online preventing you from being tracked down so you're able to hack without problems (deploying RATs, ransomware, etc.), post to a forum anonymously, or do anything that's questionable online. This course is designed to teach you more about cyber security and how to keep your Operational Security (OPSec) on point while using the Operating System (OS) of your choice.

Whether you're just starting out in the cybercriminal world, just finished a computer science degree, or have some hacking experience I recommend taking the courses in order while at HackTown. Everything you're about to learn is essential knowledge that will help develop your critical thinking skills needed to be successful.

Treat the courses offered here like you're in class at school. Keep notes and reference things accordingly while popping into the chapters that seem interesting to you and getting back to the ones that are over your head at a later date. Don't get too overwhelmed because you don't always have to know what you don't know.

You'll notice we don't go into too much detail about a specific programming language. That being said I do recommend you take the time to eventually learning a programming language simply for the main purpose to make your own malware. But ultimately this is not required. Many hackers will use a variety of programming languages throughout their careers but it's better to learn the principles of cybercrime first and then decide whether to focus on programming later to fine tune your attacks.

Take your time going through the free courses offered here and when you're ready to take it to the next level consider joining HackTown as a member.

There will be points throughout this course marked in BLUE. These points are useful to fully grasp the concepts taught and will help with understanding the techniques and explanations on various topics. It's important that when you read them you stop and take the time to do what they say or follow up with them.

All of the syntax of the code you will be needing to copy and paste when following along will be RED. So anytime you see something in RED you know that it's syntax code and should be entered into Kali, Terminal, Windows Command Prompt, etc.
