ACT 0 - OPSec
Chapter 10 - Anonymous Emails

You'll eventually need an e-mail address to register, sign-up, and communicate with clients, buyers, or to install Windows in a VM. Always, always, always use Tor to sign up (preferably in Whonix VM or using Tails OS) when creating an e-mail and only use Tor to check that e-mail. From here on in you should not be using any Wi-Fi networks associated to your personal identity. Coffee shops, open Wi-Fi networks, and soon later on in the next course when you learn how to hack Wi-Fi networks are the only networks you should be using to connect to the Internet when performing "business" activities. Remember what you've learned from others and the articles you've already read. Learn from others for fucks sake.

If you require a Gmail, Hotmail, or Yahoo! email address some of those email providers require a mobile number in order to sign up. Depending on what and why you require that type of email you'll be needing a mobile device to sign up with. Any provider that requests a mobile number you'll want to use a pre-paid cell phone (burner phone) that can receive texts or an online SMS service to receive text messages. When it comes to purchasing a burner phone it's best to purchase it as far from your physical location as possible and ideally wait at least a month or so before activating/using it. This way hopefully the security footage of where you bought the burner phone from is already recorded over. In any event take efforts to disguise yourself when you're buying a burner phone (sunglasses, hats, wigs, etc.).

If you require a temporary email to register for whatever website you're trying to register on and need something quick and easy check out:

Everyone has different things going on but it's best to stick with email providers that operate within the Tor network and use PGP when dealing with clients, buyers, associates, etc.

TorBox and Sonar are excellent choices if you want to keep your communications with others within the Tor network and want it isolated to one provider. The reason I recommend using these providers is because you can ONLY send and receive emails to/from other users within the TorBox/Sonar service which basically forces people to use Tor.

Some email providers block emails to and from known Tor email providers and thus there are times when you're unsure if all your emails are going through or being blocked which can fuck up business relations.

Again, be mindful when using email providers on Tor as sometimes there are issues receiving and sending emails to other people who are using typical email providers (Gmail, Outlook, mail.ru, etc.). You may need to guide the people who you plan on collaborating with to use the same email providers as you or set them up with a TorBox/Sonar email address.

Remember, it's not so much about selecting the right e-mail provider who will keep your communications safe as it is about being safe while using email to communicate with others. As always use PGP.

You will hear people bash certain email providers that work with police such as Protonmail. People go bananas about how they work with the police but the reality is ALL email providers will work with LE in the country they operate in if they receive a request from them. Always encrypt your communications when possible and assume everything will betray you. This goes for everything really. Don't be so naive thinking a business isn't going to co-operate with police to protect little old you because when the police comes knocking on their door that business will follow whatever laws they are required to follow in their country or end up with major problems. Always assume worst case scenario and assume the services you will use (VPS, VPN, etc.) will betray you so take measures to protect your comunications. PGP is your friend when using emails for commuications with other maniacs when you're making your plans.

Remember, most companies will respond to police and law enforcements requests so don&apot; be naive in thinking they want. Always assume they will.

Always use Tor when checking your emails and use PGP as much as possible. Everytime you send an email that isn't encrypted with PGP think to yourself "would that be a problem for me if LE read it?" and then you'll know your answer.
